Notohadinegoro Airport
Encyclopaedia

Notohadinegoro Airport is a domestic airport serving Jember Regency, in the eastern salient of Java, Indonesia. The airport is named after Notohadinegoro, a former Regent of Jember who served during the Dutch colonial period from 1929 until the onset of the Japanese occupation in 1942. Inaugurated in 2005, the airport is located in Ajung District, approximately 8.2 km from Jember town centre, the administrative centre of the regency. As of 2026, flight operations at the airport are very limited, with FlyJaya being the sole airline operating there and serving a single route between Jember and Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport in Jakarta. The airport previously had scheduled flights to Surabaya and Denpasar in Bali, operated by Citilink, Garuda Indonesia and Wings Air, as well as pioneer flights to Sumenep in Madura operated by Susi Air. All of these services have since been discontinued.
