Bidar Airport, also known as Bidar Air Force Station, is a dual-use aerodrome located near Bidar in the northern part of Karnataka, India. It primarily serves the Indian Air Force and hosts training operations, while also being designated for limited civilian use under the IATA code IXX. The airport is situated in a historically significant region close to the borders of Telangana and Maharashtra. Commercial operations at Bidar have been minimal and intermittent, with the airfield seeing occasional scheduled or charter services under India's regional connectivity initiatives. As part of the Government of India's UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik) scheme, Bidar has been identified for potential regional air connectivity to improve access for residents of this relatively underserved area. However, regular commercial airline operations have remained limited.
