Kingman Airport (IATA: IGM, ICAO: KIGM) is a public-use general aviation airport located in Kingman, Arizona, the county seat of Mohave County. Situated at an elevation of approximately 3,449 feet above sea level, the airport occupies a large site in the high Mojave Desert and serves primarily general aviation, charter, and cargo operations. The airport gained significant historical recognition as a major World War II training base known as Kingman Army Air Field, where thousands of aerial gunners were trained. Today it remains notable for its aircraft storage and maintenance operations, taking advantage of the dry desert climate that helps preserve parked aircraft. The facility features multiple runways and substantial ramp space that accommodates aircraft storage contractors. While Kingman Airport does not currently host scheduled commercial passenger airline service, it plays an important role in regional general aviation and serves as an economic asset for the Kingman community. The airport is owned and operated by the City of Kingman.
