Maharaja Agrasen International Airport, located in Hisar, Haryana, is a civil enclave operating alongside a military airfield. Named after the legendary King Maharaja Agrasen, the airport serves as an emerging regional hub for the state of Haryana and surrounding areas. The airport has been developed and upgraded with the aim of providing commercial air connectivity to Hisar, a major industrial and agricultural city. It has received flights under India's UDAN regional connectivity scheme, which aims to make air travel affordable and accessible to smaller cities. Although designated as an international airport, operations have primarily been domestic in nature.
