It is located just outside the town of Haugesund on the Helganes peninsula on the island of Karmøy in Karmøy Municipality, Rogaland county, Norway. The airport features a 2,120-meter (6,960 ft) runway aligned 13/31. Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) and Norwegian Air Shuttle provide services to Oslo.
