Patras Araxos Agamemnon Airport (IATA: GPA, ICAO: LGRX) is an international airport located near the town of Araxos, approximately 50 kilometres west of the city of Patras in the Achaea regional unit of western Greece. It serves as the primary commercial airport for the greater Patras area and the wider western Peloponnese region. The airport shares its facilities with the Hellenic Air Force base at Araxos (341 Mira), making it a dual-use civil and military airfield. Commercial operations are managed by Fraport Greece, which took over operations of several Greek regional airports in 2017 under a long-term concession agreement. Due to its location, Araxos primarily handles seasonal charter and low-cost carrier flights, with demand peaking during the summer tourist season. It has seen periodic investment to improve passenger infrastructure and handling capacity.
