Pomfret Airport (ICAO: FAQF) is a small general aviation aerodrome located in the remote Pomfret settlement in the North West Province of South Africa, near the border with Botswana. The facility serves a sparsely populated area and is not a commercial passenger airport. Pomfret itself is a former mining town historically associated with the asbestos industry and later used as a base for ex-SADF foreign mercenary soldiers.
