Location
El Dorado, Argentina
El Dorado Airport (IATA: ELO, ICAO: SATD) is a small regional airport located in El Dorado, a city in the northern Misiones province of Argentina. It serves as an access point for the surrounding area, which is known for its yerba mate plantations and proximity to the Paraná River. The airport handles limited domestic traffic, connecting El Dorado to other Argentine cities. Its operations are modest in scale, catering primarily to light aircraft and occasional scheduled regional services. Due to its regional nature, the airport does not host major international carriers or extensive infrastructure, functioning instead as a supplementary access point for a province that also benefits from the larger Cataratas del Iguazú International Airport to the north.
