Lasham Airfield is a general aviation airfield located near Alton in Hampshire, England. It is best known as the home of the Lasham Gliding Society, one of the largest and most active gliding clubs in the world, and serves as a major hub for glider pilots across the United Kingdom. The airfield also hosts Aviation Enterprises and other maintenance organisations, making it an important centre for aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations. It has no scheduled commercial passenger services and does not hold an IATA code. Lasham has a long aviation history dating back to World War II, when it was built as a Royal Air Force station. Today it operates primarily for gliding, private aviation, and aircraft maintenance activities.
