Remote Arctic gateway serving Russia's northernmost settlement.

Location
Dikson, Russia
Dikson Airport (IATA: DKS, ICAO: UODD) serves the remote Arctic settlement of Dikson in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia. Located on the Taymyr Peninsula along the Kara Sea coast, it is one of the northernmost airports in the world and operates in extremely harsh Arctic conditions year-round. The airport primarily supports logistical operations, scientific expeditions, and government-related flights to the isolated community of Dikson, which has a very small permanent population. Air transport is essentially the only reliable means of reaching the settlement, making the airport critical infrastructure for the area. Scheduled passenger services are extremely limited, historically operated by regional Russian carriers. The airport also serves weather stations and polar research activities in the surrounding region.
Terminals
The airport has minimal terminal facilities consistent with its small, remote operational scale.
Getting to & from
Ground transport options within Dikson are extremely limited given the settlement's tiny population and remote location.
Airlines here
Regional Russian carriers, including Norilsk Avia and similar operators, have historically provided infrequent scheduled services.
