Crotone Sant'Anna Pythagoras Airport, officially known as Aeroporto di Crotone, is a small regional airport serving the province of Crotone in Calabria, southern Italy. It is named in honor of the ancient Greek philosopher Pythagoras, who lived and worked in the nearby ancient city of Croton. The airport handles a modest volume of passengers and primarily serves domestic and limited seasonal charter routes. It is one of several small regional airports in Calabria, alongside Lamezia Terme and Reggio Calabria, and plays a supporting role in regional connectivity. Due to its limited infrastructure and traffic, the airport has faced periods of reduced or suspended operations over the years. Efforts to develop tourism in the Ionian coast area have periodically driven interest in expanding its route network.
