Gateway to the charming island of Bequia.

Location
Bequia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
J F Mitchell Airport, designated by IATA code BQU and ICAO code TVSB, serves the island of Bequia in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Named after Sir James Fitz-Allen Mitchell, a former Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the airport plays a vital role in connecting Bequia to neighboring islands in the Eastern Caribbean. The airport features a short runway suitable for small propeller-driven aircraft, limiting operations to regional carriers. It serves as an important link for both residents and tourists visiting Bequia, one of the most popular destinations in the Grenadines known for its beaches and sailing culture. Due to the runway length and terrain constraints, the airport handles only inter-island traffic, with passengers typically connecting through E. T. Joshua Airport or Argyle International Airport on Saint Vincent for onward international travel.
Terminals
The airport has a single small terminal building suited to handle the low volume of inter-island passenger traffic.
Getting to & from
Ground transport from the airport to Port Elizabeth, Bequia's main town, is available via taxis and minibuses.
