Begumpet Airport, located in the Begumpet district of Hyderabad, India, served as the city's primary commercial airport for decades before being superseded by Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad, which opened in 2008. Operating under the ICAO code VOHY, Begumpet was one of the oldest airports in India and handled millions of passengers during its commercial era. Following the opening of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Begumpet transitioned away from scheduled commercial passenger services. It currently operates primarily as a general aviation facility and hosts the Hyderabad Flying Club, one of India's oldest flying clubs. The Airports Authority of India (AAI) manages the facility. The airport is also home to the Begumpet Air Force Station and has historically served both civilian and military aviation purposes. Its central location within Hyderabad made it convenient during its commercial years, though urban growth ultimately necessitated the construction of a new, larger facility on the city's outskirts.

Begumpet Airport is an airport that serves Hyderabad in Telangana, India. It is located in Begumpet and caters to general and military aviation. The airport is home to the Begumpet Air Force Station of the Indian Air Force. Begumpet was built by the Princely State of Hyderabad in the 1930s and served as the city's commercial airport for several decades. It eventually became overcrowded, with little room for expansion. After the opening of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad on 23 March 2008, Begumpet ceased all commercial operations.
