Zucchelli Ice Runway (ICAO: AT13) is a seasonal airstrip located near Mario Zucchelli Station, an Italian Antarctic research base situated on Terra Nova Bay in the Ross Sea region of Antarctica. The runway operates on compacted sea ice or nearby glacial terrain and is active only during the austral summer season, typically from October to February. The airstrip supports logistical operations for the Italian National Antarctic Research Program (PNRA) and serves as a critical hub for transporting personnel and supplies to and from the station. It handles ski-equipped or specially adapted aircraft capable of operating in extreme polar conditions. Due to its remote and harsh environment, the runway has no permanent infrastructure and is dependent on seasonal ice conditions. Operations are coordinated with New Zealand's Antarctic programs given the proximity to McMurdo Sound logistics networks.
