Albacete Airport, officially designated Los Llanos Air Base (LEAB), is a dual-use facility located near the city of Albacete in the Castilla-La Mancha region of southeastern Spain. It serves both commercial passenger traffic under the IATA code ABC and is home to a significant Spanish Air Force presence, making it one of Spain's primary military air bases. The airport handles a modest volume of commercial flights, primarily connecting Albacete to other Spanish cities and select European destinations. Its military role includes hosting fighter training operations and NATO exercises, which gives the facility strategic importance beyond its relatively limited civil aviation capacity. Managed on the civil side by AENA, Spain's national airport operator, Albacete Airport has a relatively small passenger terminal suited to the size of the regional market.
