MexicanaLink (IATA: I6, ICAO: MXI) was a regional Mexican airline that operated as a subsidiary and feeder carrier for Mexicana de Aviación, one of Mexico's largest and oldest airlines. Operating under the callsign LINK, the carrier focused on connecting smaller regional cities to major hubs, complementing Mexicana's broader network. The airline was part of the Mexicana group structure, which collapsed in August 2010 when Mexicana de Aviación suspended operations and filed for bankruptcy protection. MexicanaLink ceased operations as a direct consequence of the parent company's financial failure, leaving a significant gap in regional air connectivity across Mexico. At its operational peak, MexicanaLink served numerous domestic routes that were underserved by larger carriers, playing an important role in regional aviation within Mexico before the broader Mexicana group's collapse.
