The Dassault Falcon 2000 is a twin-engine wide-body business jet developed by French manufacturer Dassault Aviation. It was designed as a derivative of the trijet Falcon 900, retaining the same fuselage cross-section but replacing three engines with two CFE738 turbofans, reducing operating costs while maintaining excellent range and performance. The aircraft entered service in 1995 and has since spawned several variants, including the extended-range Falcon 2000EX, the Falcon 2000EX EASy with Honeywell HTF7000 engines, the long-range Falcon 2000LX, and the Falcon 2000S with enhanced short-field performance. These variants significantly expanded range and capability over the original model. The Falcon 2000 series is popular among corporate flight departments and charter operators worldwide.
