The Boeing 737 MAX 10 is the largest member of the 737 MAX family, designed to maximize passenger capacity in a single-aisle configuration. It features a stretched fuselage compared to the MAX 9, accommodating up to 230 passengers in a single-class layout, making it competitive with the Airbus A321neo family. The aircraft uses CFM International LEAP-1B engines and incorporates a semi-levered landing gear system to allow the longer fuselage to rotate on takeoff without a tail strike, avoiding the need for a costly fuselage redesign. Its economics are aimed at high-density short- to medium-haul routes. The MAX 10 faced certification delays in part related to the broader 737 MAX recertification process following the 2018–2019 accidents, as well as additional FAA scrutiny under the Aircraft Certification, Safety, and Accountability Act. It entered commercial service in 2023.

The Boeing 737 MAX is a series of narrow-body aircraft developed by Boeing Commercial Airplanes as the fourth generation of the Boeing 737. It succeeds the Boeing 737 Next Generation and incorporates more efficient CFM International LEAP engines, aerodynamic improvements such as split-tip winglets, and structural modifications. The program was announced in August 2011, the first flight took place in January 2016, and the aircraft was certified by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in March 2017. The first delivery, a MAX 8, was made to Malindo Air in May 2017.
